The airline operates a fleet of Boeing aircraft featuring new Next-Generation 737 aircraft with leather seats and more legroom. Westjet provides service to Calgary, Edmonton,  Kelowna, Winnipeg and points East as far as Halifax and St John's. Westjet also provides transborder service to locations like Tampa, San Franciso, Los Angeles. Westjet was launched with a strategy to offer low fare travel like Southwest Airlines.
